Product Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1. JIRA (Critical Responsibility)
2. Understanding the Jira process as outlined for the team, including best practices, capturing key reporting and query field values
3. Tracking Status in Jira for Features, Stories, Tasks an Issues using manual queries and reports
4. Documentation / Business Requirements Writing (Critical Responsibility)
5. Participating in key requirement discussions to understand the and note down Key decision, Action Items, Key Requirements and make notes during the meeting
6. Converting Meeting Notes into relevant requirement documentation working closely with Product Manager/Lead
7. Taking Initiative to Follow up with specific team on Open items, using chat, or setting up specific topic calls to get them to closure
8. Creating simple flowcharts based on the discussion around Ops Process or System processing requirements
9. Meeting Agenda Management
10. Collaborate with Product Leads and Subject Matter Experts to create detailed meeting agendas to ensure all critical topics are addressed
11. Facilitate agendas during calls, ensuring discussions remain on track and objectives are met
12. Work ahead of meetings to collaborate with resources, ensuring they provide updates and relevant materials prior to scheduled calls
13. Meeting Minutes
14. Accurately transcribe detailed meeting minutes, capturing key discussions, decisions, and action items with precision
15. Ensure minutes are documented and distributed promptly, serving as a single source of truth for meeting outcomes
16. Please note: Unfortunately transcribing from recordings is not possible
17. Task Follow-Up
18. Actively follow up with task owners to ensure timely progress and completion of assigned tasks
19. Identify and escalate blockers to appropriate stakeholders
20. Reporting
21. Maintain detailed PowerPoint and Excel reports on task progress, initiative status, and key milestones for both task-level and initiative-level tracking
22. Knowledge Base Management
23. Maintain a centralized repository of questions, decisions, and recurring topics for easy reference and continuity
24. Regularly update and curate the knowledge base to ensure relevance and accuracy
25. Strong MS Office (higher than intermediate expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

• Essential Skills:
• Proven ability to facilitate meetings and create comprehensive and detailed meeting minutes
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, and inherent attention to detail. for maintaining clear and professional presentation materials
• Strong task management and organizational skills
• Excellent follow-up capabilities to ensure task owners meet deadlines
• Proficiency in reporting
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

• Preferred Experience:
• Experience in project management, coordination or similar roles is beneficial but not required
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or SharePoint is a plus
• Prior experience in a financial services environment is advantageous but not mandatory
• Years of Experience:
• Not a determining factor; demonstrated capability in the above areas is the key criterion

Pay Range: $60/hr. on W2 - $65/hr. on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labour in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
