Job Description

Waking Wellness LLC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Oregon Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) to join our growing remote private practice. This is a 1099 contractor position ideal for a therapist looking to build their own caseload with the flexibility of telehealth, strong clinical supervision, and support in starting your own practice.

Position Details

• Compensation: $45–$65 per billable session hour (50-80% of insurance rate)
• Supervision: Included to support licensure and professional growth
• Client Caseload Support: Help provided in steadily building your caseload
• Pay Structure: 1099 contractor; paid only for client sessions
• Work Environment: Remote, telehealth-based private practice setting

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy via secure telehealth platform
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Adhere to professional ethics and Oregon licensing board requirements
• Collaborate in a supportive environment when needed

Requirements

• Active Oregon Professional Counselor Associate License (LPC-A)
• Experience or interest in treating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma (PTSD), etc.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
• Strong communication, documentation, and telehealth skills
• Reliable internet and a private, secure space for sessions
• Understand the role and requirements of a 1099 contractor.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Familiarity with CBT, ERP, CPT, or other evidence-based practices
• Previous telehealth or private practice experience
