Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day marketing operations across our diverse portfolio of businesses. This part-time role is ideal for a resourceful individual who’s excited to develop content, help grow three local brands, and contribute to marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and business growth.

You’ll work directly with the leadership team and have a voice in campaign planning and execution, making this an opportunity to not only grow your marketing skillset, but also gain high-level exposure to brand-building, operations, and entrepreneurship. As the businesses continue to grow, this role is expected to expand into a full-time position, with additional opportunities for continued professional growth and preferred consideration for future leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Capture & Creation:
    • Visit job sites (Boss Mudjacking/Genesis) and the float spa (Salinity) regularly to capture photos and video.
    • Stage and shoot content that aligns with each brand’s visual identity and tone.
    • Edit photo and video content for use across social media, email, web, and digital ads.

  • Digital Marketing Support:
    • Assist with the creation and scheduling of email campaigns, promotions, and seasonal launches.
    • Help manage social media calendars and coordinate content posting across platforms.

  • ​Asset Management & Marketing Coordination:
    • Organize and maintain a shared digital content library.
    • Support the execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and event coordination.
    • Meet with leadership to develop ideas for content, branding, and marketing strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or a related field ( internships accepted ).
  • Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom), or equivalent tools.
  • Strong visual eye and ability to capture clean, high-quality content.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter who can manage projects independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Comfortable working on-site at job locations (must have reliable transportation).

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Experience with scheduling tools like Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite.
  • Understanding of SEO, paid ads, or Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Background in social media trends or video-first content platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.).
