Job Description

Summary

We're looking for a Learning Assistant motivated to become a Lead Teacher and willing to learn the art of developmental instruction for students ages 2-4. Teacher-In Training will receive professional development tailored to strengths and weaknesses in teaching early learners, achieve a CDA credential, and be highly skilled at the end of the school year to lead a classroom.

Duties

This position will be responsible for preparing instructional materials along with the Lead Teacher, preparing classrooms for activities, supervising and assisting children in the classroom and in other areas of the school, reinforcing classroom lessons, and providing other assistance as requested. Position hire is contingent on agreement to enroll in a CDA certification program, in which coursework will be outside of E2P Center working hours.

Requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must also be 18 years of age.
