Objective

To develop persuasive, conversion-focused web and blog copy for our client, a wellness brand focused on clean, science-backed supplements—starting with a flagship green supplement product.

Profile overview

Our client is undergoing a website revamp and seeks a writer who can bridge the gap between scientific credibility and marketing storytelling. The ideal writer should be adept at translating scientific details into engaging, digestible copy that resonates with two buyer personas (female consumers focused on overall health/wellness and male consumers focused on muscle gain and performance). SEO familiarity and a keen eye for trends in supplements, wellness, and clean living are ideal.

Scope

• Duration: 6 months to start
• Commitment: 25 hours/mo
• Location Preference: Remote, US-Based Timezone

Key Responsibilities

• Craft a conversion-focused landing page copy for all products
• Translate detailed scientific formulation information into persuasive, consumer-friendly messaging.
• Collaborate with designer and marketing stakeholders to align copy with visual assets.
• Build the foundation for company brand messaging and tone.
• Write SEO-informed blog posts that build brand authority and address customer questions.
• Other marketing collateral as needed, like social copy, client stories, product descriptions, and email support.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience writing high-conversion copy, preferably with experience in supplements or health/wellness space
• Strong storytelling and narrative development skills
• SEO copywriting knowledge and determining the right keywords to work into copy (bonus for AEO exposure)
• Autonomous work style with the ability to manage feedback from multiple stakeholders
• Great collaborator who is willing to learn, but also not afraid to share their opinions and get their foot in the door
• Bonus: experience with Shopify, social copy, or customer interviews

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with marketing copy like social, email, and product descriptions. The main focus in web copy, but this skill set is a bonus.
• Ability to synthesize scientific data into consumer-friendly messaging
• Familiarity with influencer-driven eCommerce trends
