Camp Addisone Boyce| Seasonal, Full-Time | $2,025 - $2,325
To guide campers throughout their camp experience in accordance with standards set by Girl Scouts of the USA, the American Camp Association, and the New York State Department of Health, and to assist the Unit Leader in planning, teaching, and coordinating unit activities.
Carry out duties as delegated by the Unit Leader
Get to know the campers in the unit and help them learn to respect the rights of others and understand differences and similarities among campers
Assist in teaching camping skills and fostering an appreciation of the outdoors
Help supervise unit housekeeping, sanitation, and care of supplies and equipment
Assist in guiding unit activities and experiences through troop government, girl–adult planning, and the Girl Scout program
Serve as a waterfront guard or watcher and/or assist with swimming lessons as required
Promptly report any illness or injury to the Unit Leader and assist in supervising camper activities to ensure safety
Attend Thursday overnights
Successful completion of a background check
Must be at least 18 years old
Current high school student or graduate
Experience supervising children or completion of pre-camp training
Girl Scout experience preferred
Camp experience preferred
Ability to stand for long periods
Capable of lifting and carrying items over 15 lbs
Proficient in navigating rough terrain
Comfortable being physically active for extended durations
