Description ________________________________________ Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Treasury Accountant to join our finance team. This role will focus heavily on treasury operations, including daily cash management, bank reconciliations, and supporting the company's liquidity and investment strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background paired with hands-on treasury experience, and thrives in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily cash position reporting, including tracking inflows/outflows and optimizing cash usage across bank accounts. - Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy between internal records and bank statements. - Monitor and manage the company's short-term liquidity needs, coordinating cash transfers and maintaining adequate funding. - Support treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, intercompany transfers, and investment tracking. - Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; prepare journal entries and support monthly close activities. - Collaborate with the accounting team on accounts payable, receivable, and payroll postings as needed. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports; assist with regulatory and compliance filings. - Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits and respond to auditor requests. - Analyze banking fees, manage treasury service agreements, and assist in bank relationship management. - Contribute to process improvements within the treasury and accounting functions. ________________________________________ Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. - 2-4 years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on treasury and bank reconciliation functions. - Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills. - High attention to detail and accuracy in work. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners. - High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. ________________________________________ Requirements Accounting Software Systems, Data Processing, Accounting Functions, Automated Clearing House (ACH), Banking Operation, Capital Management, Cash Activity, Dynamics GP, MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Bank Reconciliations, Monthly Bank Reconciliation Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
