TECHNOLOGY TRANSACTIONS - ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (Multi-Cities)

Our client, a prominent Amlaw 50 firm, is seeking a driven Technology Transactions Associate Attorney to join its dynamic IP Transactions Practice . This role offers an exciting opportunity to advise innovative companies—from early-stage ventures to global leaders—on structuring, negotiating, and executing high-impact deals that shape their intellectual property and business strategies.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction , in good standing
• 2-5 years of substantive experience in intellectual property transactions
• Demonstrated experience drafting , reviewing , and negotiating complex collaboration , licensing , and partnering agreements
• Interest in expanding practice to technology transactions work in areas such as AI , fintech , renewable energy , cybersecurity , and other emerging technologies , in the emerging company/venture capital space
• Excellent research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
• Commitment to professional excellence and a collaborative team mindset

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate collaboration, partnering, and licensing agreements for clients in technology-driven sectors
• Advise clients on corporate partnerships , strategic alliances , licensing arrangements , and commercialization strategies for products and technologies at any stage of their life cycle (including emerging company/venture capital clients).
• Support IP and technology-related aspects of venture capital financings , public offerings , and M&A transactions
• Conduct research and analysis on diverse technologies, including AI , autonomous vehicles, biotechnology , digital health , fintech , IT , edtech , renewable energy , AR/VR , and cybersecurity
• Collaborate closely with attorneys across practices to provide integrated and strategic client support

Compensation & Benefits

• The expected annual base salary ranges from $235,000 to $365,000 , based on experience and market factors.
• Eligibility for performance-based bonuses .
