Description Opening for a Sr. Accountant CPA track or CPA Location: near Miami airport/Blue Lagoon Schedule: 2 days Remote, 3 In-office Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30-5:00 Salary: $85-$110,000 + Bonus: generous Benefits: majority of Medical paid for Employee; generous Holidays (10days) and Paid PTO (18 days), 401k and other Insurances available. This role is ideal for an Accounting professional with a CPA or soon to complete. The company offers future career development and grows long lasting careers. Keys to this Role: + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting + CPA or soon to complete Responsibilities: Oversight of AP and AR making adjustments as needed; oversight of vendor reconciliations resolving escalated discrepancies; ensures compliance of payments according to vendor and supplier contract terms; handles communications with new vendor partners; performs timely month end close and reporting of financials; yearly close; financial statements, maintains annual Budget; revenue recognition reporting and collects financials from internal departments including supply chain and distribution and operations; managing data in Excel and reporting on Dashboards for executive management; and provides recommendations on meeting goals objectives; Collaborates on Audits providing required documentation. Requirements - A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field. - Proficiency in month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and general ledger maintenance. - Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations with attention to detail. - Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
