Position Title: Spanish Mobilization Coach

Location: Houston, Texas or Latin America  

Department: Launch Global International

Reports to: Houston Spanish Mobilization Area Leader

This position is: Full Time; Exempt; Support-raised.  

Launch Global’s Spanish Mobilization efforts exists to mobilize Spanish speaking churches to develop laborers and leaders who multiply healthy churches among unreached people groups.

This role is for a Spanish Mobilization coach to focus on mobilizing and coaching church lay leaders across Latin America. This is accomplished through equipping and training lay leaders in churches to catalyze disciple-making locally and globally amongst the unreached. Mobilizers train, coach, and empower using simple and reproducible tools in order for fruitful multiplication to happen. Spanish mobilizers also have the joy of networking and building trust with their assigned church/s and partners.

Finances

This is a full-time, support-raised position. Launch Global provides training, resources, and coaching on how to raise your own financial support. The average length of time it takes Launch Global staff to raise all required financial support is three months due to the excellent training provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Training, Coaching, and Leadership Responsibilities
    • Leading XPLORE trainings, 10-week disciple making trainings, and 9-month groups
    • Modeling evangelism, mobilization, and discipleship tools using the MAWL(Model, Assist, Watch, Launch) approach
    • Contextualizing and developing spanish speaking missions and mobilization resources 
    • Coaching and caring for latino national leaders (Pastors and lay mobilizers) in goal setting, strategy, sending process, and mobilization tools 
    • Train national believers in disciple making and church planting
    • Develop national leaders in character, vision, and leadership
    • Being empowered and equipped to have conversations with pastors and churches
  • Networking and Partnerships
    • Developing trusted relationships with key pastors in the U.S. on both a personal and ministry level 
    • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements
    • Ensure alignment of partner organizations with Launch Global’s mission and core values
  • Language and Culture
    • Being an active learner of the spanish speaking culture 
    • Using language that is culturally appropriate for the Spanish speaking context
    • Contextualize communication with pastors according to the churches’ terminology 
  • Team
    • Being flexible and understanding when working either remotely or in person
    • Having a collaborative spirit when working and strategizing with teammates (Contribute ideas, questions, and biblical insights to team) 
    • Being self sacrificial to serve team members and international partners
    • Integrating lay mobilizers as part of teaming 
    • Participating in regular team meetings and facilitating when delegated by team leader
  • Communication
    • Communicating with team in a promptly manner (4 hours) 
    • Communicating with lay leaders, pastors, and ministry associates in a prompt manner (within 1 business day) 
    • Communicating in a respectful, confident, and teachable posture to teammates and team leader 
    • Effectively following up with collaborative partners working towards spanish speaking mobilization (churches, leaders, ministries, lay mobilizers) 
    • Communicating with team leader about updates with churches, networking, and projects/trainings

Additional Job Requirements

 

  • Aligned to the vision of wanting to Discover (envisionar), Develop (entrenar), and Deploy (enviar) spanish speaking believers to the 10/40 window 
  • Has gone through (or will go through) the process pipeline explore, 10 week training, 9 month training, Mob bootcamp 
  • Cross cultural ministry experience (Stateside and/or global) 
  • Speaks, reads, and writes Spanish fluently 
  • Participation in monthly Day of Prayer and Evaluation (DOPE).
  • Understand, affirm and adhere to Launch Global’s Statement of Faith.
  • Agree to uphold Launch Global’s Vision and Mission
