Location: Cremorne, Victoria, Australia with an upcoming move at a mutually agreed time if not a CA local!

Our rapidly expanding cryptocurrency brokerage, is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Crypto Broker & West Coast Lead to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities:

This role offers a dual mandate: acting as a senior individual contributor in brokerage activities while simultaneously leading and mentoring a pod of talented crypto brokers. You will be instrumental in driving trading volume, expanding our client base, and ensuring the highest standards of execution and client service. This is a hands-on leadership role where your strategic vision and operational expertise will directly impact our success.

As a Senior Crypto Broker:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients, and corporate accounts, understanding their unique investment goals.
  • Market Analysis & Insights: Provide expert market commentary, research, and insights to clients, keeping them informed of industry trends, regulatory developments, and potential trading opportunities.
  • Risk Management: Working with the US Compliance Team, implement and adhere to robust risk management protocols, ensuring responsible trading practices and safeguarding client assets.
  • Onboarding & Compliance: Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of various cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies and emerging digital asset trends.

As a West Coast Lead:

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of crypto brokers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Performance Management: Set clear performance targets, monitor individual and team progress, and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for your team, ensuring they remain at the forefront of crypto market knowledge and best practices.
  • Workflow Optimization: Streamline brokerage processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
  • Strategy & Growth: Contribute to the overall brokerage strategy, identifying new market opportunities, product offerings, and client segments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other internal teams, including compliance, technology, and operations, to ensure seamless client experiences and operational excellence.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on team performance, market activity, and key client metrics to senior management.

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a crypto broker or in a similar trading/advisory role within the digital asset industry.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or team lead capacity , demonstrating the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team.
  • Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets , including major assets (Bitcoin, Ethereum), altcoins, DeFi, NFTs, and emerging trends.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills , with a track record of building trust and driving client satisfaction.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities , with the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented , with a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field are highly regarded.
