Live-in Female Companion/Caregiver Needed For My Mother in beautiful Washington state, near the ocean and overlooking the Canadian Rockies. My mom has progressing Alzheimer's Dementia, but remains a kind and soft-spoken person with a loving disposition. She enjoys reading, writing, coloring, painting and puzzles. She is in good physical health aside from her left shoulder rotator cuff. We will provide a private room with attached bathroom for you in our quiet, peaceful home. We are flexible and will work with you to plan daily/weekly schedules that are comfortable for everyone. Requirements: * Someone with a positive attitude who is gentle, flexible, trustworthy and we can think of as family * Help care for my mother * Willing to help with general housework and meal planning and preparation. * Speaks one of the following English, Urdu/Hindi or Spanish. * Non-Smoking, Non Drinker, No substance use. Responsibilities include: * Learning what my mom needs and implementing her daily schedule. * Bathing, meal prep, medication and vitamin prep, clothing changes, lite/easy physical therapy, walks, setting up her activities, her laundry, keeping her company and watching out for her safety and well-being. Eventually, she will need more help as her Alzheimer's progresses. * Other general help as needed with my mom, as well as around the house and in the kitchen according to our preferred practices.
