SAIC is seeking a  Requirements Analyst to join our team in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).

The candidate will support a legacy software application for the United States Marine Corps (USMC). Candidate should have great communication skills to work with the subject matter experts to gather requirements for new work. Must have excellent organization skills; able to manage, track, recall, and associate a large amount of requirement information. Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) is preferred but not required. 

Note: This position will primarily be a Remote / Virtual / Work from home position and will require occasional on-site visits to the Pentagon (Arlington, VA).

Job Duties: 

  • Candidate will gather, enter, and/or update data to maintain system requirements for the customer and ensure compliance.
  • Candidate will decompose requirements into the government Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), allocate requirements to components, and establish a requirements allocated baseline.
  • Candidate must participate in daily team meetings, reviews, demonstrations, and other meetings as needed.
  • Candidate will assist with technical planning and high level and detailed requirements discussions.
  • Candidate will be expected to support other client specific technical and project documentation, including meeting minutes, documentation editing, and peer reviews.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree and two (2) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree.

Required Clearance:

  • Must have an active Secret Security Clearance.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated experience with technical documentation.
  • Ability to work closely with customer, subject matter experts and team in analyzing requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity and/or experience with the Software Development Lifecycle.


Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
