The JCC in Miami, Fl is looking for an AMAZING Pilates Instructor!

The Reformer Pilates / Group Fitness Instructor will teach classes that are aimed at improving the overall fitness levels of our members. Ideal candidate will be a great motivator, always striving to improve the overall fitness levels of our members.

Job Duties:

• Teach Pilates methodology in a group or one to one setting.
• Plan and execute classes for all levels of fitness using proper form and safe methods.
• Create programming to attract and retain membership.
• Maintains working knowledge of wellness and trends to provide effective information and support to members.
• Ensures that all necessary equipment is set up for class, and inspect equipment to be sure that it is in safe working order.
• Responsible for studio tidiness and returning equipment to standards set by the fitness center.
• Records attendance and/or Checks-in participants in order to maintain attendance for each class.
• Ensures that there is a substitute instructor if you are unable to teach your assigned class.

Qualifications:

• Nationally recognized comprehensive Pilates Certification.
• Must have National Certification, CPR/AED certification.
• Experience teaching 6 or more participants in an apparatus based group fitness class.
• Ability to demonstrate Reformer equipment use for exercise training.
• Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury.

Experience:

• Pilates: 1 Year. (Preferred).
• Group Fitness: 1 Year. (Preferred).

License/Certification:

• CPR/AED Certification. (Required or willing to obtain).
• Pilates Certification. (Required).
