Location & Work Arrangement

• City, State: Columbus, OH
• Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Required (5 days per week).
• Engagement Type: Contract.
• Interview Mode: Onsite Interview Only.
• Shift: Monday Friday, EST.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Oversight

• Manage the complete project life cycle: planning, requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and implementation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with the PMO to mature organizational capabilities through standardized templates, policies, and tools.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Provide oversight for contracted vendors to ensure performance commitments meet stipulated project criteria.
• Coordinate technical and business workstreams across cross-functional teams and other state agencies.
• Facilitate high-level meetings, providing actionable summaries and risk mitigation strategies to key leadership.

Risk & Change Management

• Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, escalating critical concerns when appropriate.
• Oversee supporting processes, including formal change management and security compliance for enterprise systems.
• Establish priorities across multiple related projects to ensure program alignment with strategic objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

IT Program Management

Implementing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.

8+ Years

Product Lifecycle

Deep understanding of development lifecycles and technology methodologies.

3+ Years

Communication

Proven diplomacy, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Education

BS/BA Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification: Highly desired.
• Medicaid/Healthcare: Experience with Medicaid or large-scale healthcare systems development.
• Technical Depth: 3+ years of direct IT technical experience.
• Vendor Relations: Experience in procurement and vendor performance management.
• Tooling: Proficiency in Smartsheet , MS Project, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
