Pay Rate: $22 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday -- Friday, 7:00 AM -- 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM -- 4:00 PM

Location: Parker, CO

Position type: Contract / Contract to Hire -- full time

Job Summary:**

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Porter/Housekeeper to join a residential apartment community. This role is responsible for keeping all common areas clean, safe, and inviting, as well as assisting with housekeeping duties to prepare vacant units for new residents.

Key Responsibilities

Common Area Cleaning:

• Maintain cleanliness of all shared spaces, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, laundry rooms, leasing offices, and exterior grounds
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize high-traffic areas
• Clean windows, doors, light fixtures, and other surfaces
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in common areas
• Ensure walkways and entryways are free of debris and hazards
• Perform light maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs) and report larger issues to maintenance or management

Housekeeping / Unit Turnovers:

• Deep clean vacant apartment units to prepare for new tenants
• Clean kitchens (including appliances, cabinets, countertops) and bathrooms thoroughly
• Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors in units
• Clean windows, blinds, and baseboards
• Report any damage, maintenance needs, or supplies shortages to the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping preferred (apartment or hotel cleaning is a plus)
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, standing for extended periods)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
