This position is located at Coalinga State Hospital. 

Special Cutoff Date: 5/11/2025 

To have charge of the podiatry work of an institution in a state hospital; examines the feet of clients/patients; diagnoses and treats minor foot ailments; prescribes foot gear and mechanical appliances for the relief of conditions causing foot ailments; gives instruction in the proper care of the feet; keeps clinical records and dictates correspondence.

Working Conditions

The employee is required to work any shift and schedule in a variety of settings throughout the hospital and may be required to work overtime and float to other work locations as determined by the operational needs of the hospital. All employees are required to have an annual health review and repeat health reviews whenever necessary to ascertain that they are free from symptoms indicating the presence of infection and are able to safely perform their essential job duties.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a Drug Screening be passed prior to being hired.
• The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
• The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
• The position(s) require(s) a(n) to practice Podiatry License. You will be required to provide a copy of your license prior to being hired.
