Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities:

The Patient Care Tech works alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting often having more patient contact than any other team member, including doctors and nurses.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1+ years’ patient care experience.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Hospital experience.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
