Regular-Part Time (20-29 hrs./week) 

QualDerm Partners is actively seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team in Princeton, WV. As a leader in comprehensive skin and aesthetics wellness, we are committed to supporting patients’ lifetime wellness journeys with unparalleled care in dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery.

As a Regular Part-Time Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient care in a flexible work environment. You will assist in various clinical functions and contribute to the overall patient experience in our practice. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are ready.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records.
• Schedule appointments and handle office communications efficiently.
• Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and aftercare.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a clinical dermatology setting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to dermatology.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy environment.
• Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software.
