Southern Jamm Security is a family-owned and operated company based in Huntsville, Alabama. From our humble beginnings in 1994, we have continued to provide safety management services for a variety of local events and businesses. Our company works closely with the Huntsville Police Department, Madison County Sheriff's Department, and the Huntsville Emergency Medical Services Inc. (HEMSI). This ensures our ability to provide a quick emergency response if the need arises.
Southern Jamm Security is now accepting applications for an overnight security officer.
We are looking for a highly motivated and professional applicant to undertake the surveillance of one of our sites protecting staff, visitors, and property. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. The ideal candidate possesses good communication and observation skills. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and secure. This is an unarmed security position.
Responsibilities:
Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
Escort unwanted persons or trespassers from the area
Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
Investigate suspicious activity and make appropriate next step decisions
Respond to and investigate alarms
Provide assistance to people in need
Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
NO prior security experience needed but must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
Must have:
Reliable means of transportation
Active cell phone
Valid Drivers License
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 13.00 16.00 Per Hour
