Job Description

We’re searching for someone who is enthusiastic, takes direction well, and communicates easily with customers and team members. The server assistant works closely with our main servers to make sure customers get their food on time and their beverage glasses stay filled. You’ll be responsible for clearing plates and cleaning the table when customers leave, and then resetting it with tableware for the next guests. A sense of urgency and organization is required to keep the kitchen and server stations fully stocked with condiments and other food items. You’ll learn our menu to address customer questions and alert servers when customers need them. You should be familiar with food safety rules and have some food service experience. • Responsible for ensuring kitchen and server stations are kept fully stocked with condiments and all necessary items
• Fill water glasses, bring beverages, or refill customers’ glasses, and remember to refill condiments and bring them to the table
• Show customers to their tables, address any requests from customers, and respond to them in a timely manner
• Reset tables for the next guests by clearing away dirty dishes, and setting new place settings, napkins, and silverware
• Deliver food to tables in a timely and orderly fashion, and ask if customers need anything else before leaving the table

Qualifications:

• Can stand on feet for extended periods of time, bend and lift for the shift’s duration as needed
• Prepared to work nights, weekends, some holidays and help out team members with shifts when needed
• Familiarity with proper handling of food and drinks and kitchen equipment
• Must have a high school diploma or possess an equivalent GED
• Previous food service industry or QSR experience is preferred but not mandatory
