Merchant Services Processor
Location: Addison, TX | Onsite Mon–Thurs, Remote Friday
Compensation & Schedule
• Pay Range: $24–$29/hour BOE
• Schedule: Full-time, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Mon–Thurs in office, Friday remote
ROLE IMPACT
The Merchant Services Processor supports the Treasury team by managing merchant payment accounts, ensuring secure and accurate transaction processing, and providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. This role is critical to maintaining the accuracy and reliability of merchant data, billing, and fraud prevention efforts. Success in this position is defined by strong Excel proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process and maintain high volumes of merchant service requests with accuracy and timeliness.
• Compile and manage merchant account data, monthly statements, and fee reconciliations.
• Set up new merchant service accounts, POS/gateway systems, and support data integration.
• Identify, research, and resolve disputes, chargebacks, and potential fraud cases.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments for order and servicing needs.
• Update and refine treasury-related policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Deliver high-quality customer service while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with Treasury Analysts and leadership to support ongoing projects and operational tasks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED required; degree from an accredited institution preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in merchant services, treasury, or related financial operations.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation, and large data management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely.

• Merchant processing systems and payment gateways
• Fraud monitoring tools and ERP financial systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Prior experience in high-volume financial or multi-location business environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex billing and reconciliation tasks.
• Background in data-driven treasury or payment operations support.
