QualDerm Partners is looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team in our state-of-the-art facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories.
• Assist physicians during medical examinations and procedures, ensuring equipment and instruments are ready.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and accurately process specimens as directed.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Coordinate patient appointments and handle the administrative aspects of office communications.
• Educate patients regarding their treatment plans, medications, and skincare instructions.
• Ensure examination rooms are well-stocked, clean, and organized at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare setting as a Medical Assistant, particularly in dermatology.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures related to dermatology.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge and experience with electronic health records (EHR) and office software.
