DURATION 6 Month Contract To Hire
C2C PAY RATE $65HR on C2C

Company Info Our client is a financial services company that provides clearing, settlement, custody, and risk management services for securities transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities:

Mainframe Developer will provide daily support, ad-hoc requests, and system maintenance
Analyze requirements, design technical specs, and develop code for business applications
Develop, test, debug, and implement solutions; Ensure documentation for all projects
Lead projects or assignments with minimal supervision; Manage scope and timelines
Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into functional specs
As a Mainframe Developer, you will participate in QA, implementation, and incident management for supported applications
Strong understanding of full project life cycle; Able to work independently in dynamic environments
REQUIRED SKILLS .
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Experience coding and debugging Mainframe Platforms
Strong hands-on knowledge of COBOL SQL coding, CICS, debugging and utilities
Strong knowledge of CA-Scheduler, and IBM utilities
Knowledge of MQSeries coding in both the batch and CICS environments
JCL/PROC, VSAM, SYNCSORT and file-based interfaces
CICS coding, performance/tuning/design concepts, debugging and utilities
Strong Relational Database skills: DB2/ SQL and file-based interfaces
Proficient with Xpediter, Intertest and other mainframe tools
Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VISIO
Knowledge of XML a plus.
