BASIC PURPOSE:

Supports Community Support Center, site and regional staff by managing company's mail systems and providing mail service support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collect, distribute, and process office mail and operate office equipment.
  • Operate, maintain, and order supplies for mailroom and mail machinery.
  • Pick up and deliver offsite mail twice weekly.
  • Log and forward payments made for FedEx and USPS for personal mail.
  • Administer FedEx mail system. Additionally, create accounts and provide training for new users.
  • Maintain and order supplies for break rooms and restrooms.
  • Order general office supplies for main supply cabinet and stock supply closets weekly.
  • Track and approve invoicing for mailroom vendors.
  • Manage employee anniversary recognition gifts as well as assist with company events.

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience of candidate.

Knowledge and Experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite (including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English for safety and productivity reasons.
