Job Title: Low Voltage Electrical Technician
Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Electrical Technician to join our team. Must have strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems and demonstrate expertise in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems, including but not limited to structured cabling, data networks, security systems, and audio-visual equipment
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to effectively perform electrical work according to specifications and safety codes.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures or issues, providing immediate and effective solutions.
- Experience with AV/IT solutions
- Follow site survey forms, BOM and specification templates
- Ability to work with power and hand tools
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in electrical technology is preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience working with low voltage systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and the national electrical code.
- Proficient in the use of tools and equipment relevant to low voltage systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Valid driver’s license required as travel to various sites may be necessary.
