We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a collaborative orthopedic team in Twin Falls, ID. This position offers the opportunity to practice high-acuity orthopedic trauma care. The ideal candidate is fellowship-trained in orthopedic trauma and comfortable managing complex fractures and high-energy trauma cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive evaluation and surgical care for orthopedic trauma patients
Participate in a shared call rotation with a collegial orthopedic group
Perform both scheduled and emergency surgical procedures
Collaborate with hospitalists, emergency medicine, and surgical teams to ensure optimal trauma care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and trauma program development
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery preferred
Idaho medical licensure
