As a Locum MD or DO in Pathology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing diseases and providing insights that inform patient care. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of medical services delivered by our partner facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret laboratory results
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Conduct pathology consultations and provide expert opinions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in pathology and medical practices
• Participate in case discussions and provide guidance to clinical staff
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Provide training and mentorship to junior medical staff as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Pathology or equivalent
• 3-5 years of clinical experience in pathology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Indiana

Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Schedule: 2 weeks of coverage every 6 weeks

No call requirement

Surgical pathology skillset required

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
