Leadership & Community Engagement

Job Summary

Serve as a vital member of the Office of Leadership and Community Engagement. Develop leadership programming, coordinate Southern Leaders Program, and teach leadership courses.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Southern Leaders Program, serving as primary point of contact for participants
  • Teach multiple leadership courses each semester
  • Develop, maintain, and update curriculum for LEAD courses and leadership certificates
  • Coordinate recruiting and marketing efforts for Southern Leaders Program
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students interested in leadership, providing guidance on admissions procedures, scholarship availability, and program options and
  • requirements
  • Co-coordinate BUILD program, including curriculum, programming, and assessment efforts
  • Deliver leadership development workshops to internal and external constituents
  • Serve on Eagle Excellence Awards planning committee
  • Represent program, unit, and university at recruitment events
  • Supervise 1-2 graduate assistant(s)

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Master's degree
Required Experience
  • One (1) or more years of related work experience to include applicable collegiate experience, graduate assistantships, or professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
  • Teaching experience in higher education
  • Supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with personality assessments such as Enneagram, Myers-Briggs, CliftonStrengths, etc.

Proposed Salary

$46,513 - $49,000

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
