LABOR & EMPLOYMENT SR. ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY / COUNSEL

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm , is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney or Counsel to join its Labor & Employment Department , with a focus on labor relations matters. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic national practice, advising employers on high-profile and complex issues in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction , in good standing
• 6+ years of substantive experience representing management in labor relations and union matters
• Proven track record advising employers on issues under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), collective bargaining , unfair labor practice charges , and union organizing campaigns
• Experience handling OSHA matters preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
• Team-oriented, ambitious, and driven to help grow and support a national practice
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters and provide practical, business-focused solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Represent management in labor relations matters, including collective bargaining and union negotiations
• Advise clients on compliance with the NLRA and strategies for addressing union organizing campaigns
• Handle unfair labor practice charges and related disputes before the NLRB
• Provide counsel on workplace safety and OSHA-related issues , including responding to investigations and enforcement actions
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver comprehensive labor and employment solutions to clients
• Support clients in navigating complex labor matters quickly and effectively while mitigating risk

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Compensation : Includes an annual salary range of $275,000–$385,000 , as determined by experience, title, and market factors
• Eligibility for a discretionary bonus
