- Contract Duration: 6 months, with potential to extend
- Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN | Hybrid
- Compensation: $61,500-$96,580 annually
What you will do as an Internal Auditor: - Plan and conduct audits with a 50/50 focus on operational and financial areas
- Identify and assess risks, develop audit criteria, and analyze evidence to evaluate effectiveness of internal controls
- Document and test Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) in alignment with regulatory and professional standards
- Prepare clear, detailed audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations
- Partner with external auditors during ICFR and financial statement audits
- Collaborate across departments to strengthen processes and compliance while building trust and transparency
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the broader audit function
What you will bring to the Internal Auditor role: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in internal audit or public accounting
- Background in financial statement audits and SOX/internal control testing preferred
- Familiarity with process review, risk analysis, and operational auditing a plus
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with audit tools such as ACL or IDEA is an advantage
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
