Our client is a highly respected electrical and lighting wholesale company that is adding a new Inside Salesperson in San Diego due to growth! As their Inside Sales Rep, you'll play a key role in growing current business with Electrical Contractors and generating new business opportunities alongside a great team at their store location!

What You'll Do:

Build relationships and ensure client needs are met in order to grow business. This will include:

• Getting the word out : Prospecting/cold calling customers through strategizing and with support of information from their internal database, networking, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
• Target market includes Electrical and General Contractors, large commercial properties and local Developers. Ideally, you have current relationships in this market.
• Face Time: You'll have regular contact with customers, helping you build strong relationships.
• Follow Through: Create effective follow up using phone, email, CRM and in-person approach to manage and organize territory. We pride ourselves in strong client communication!

What you’ll need to excel:

We are seeking a successful sales person with a strong drive to succeed through hunting and cold calling. Excellent time management skills and being highly motivated will benefit you as well. Other things you’ll need:

• Existing relationships with area electrical contractors is a must!
• Have worked for an electrical or lighting wholesaler is also a must.
• 2+ yrs of Sales experience (your sales record is more important than years on the job. We are looking for the level of experience and ability that typically comes after 2+ years of high performance)
• Able to come in to the warehouse location daily

Compensation: $60-$70k base, plus commission (Commission can be significant, based on the book of business you bring on and new business!)
