What will you be bringing to the team?

• Master's degree and 13 years of professional experience in IT.
• At least 5 years of specific expertise with GIS tools .
• Ability to produce situational awareness products , e.g. maps, in a timely and scientifically accurate manner.
• Very good knowledge of GIS tools and experience in using them in the field of civil protection and humanitarian aid is considered an avantage.
• Experience on analysis of satellite imagery and maps , ideally in the Copernicus emergency management service.
• Ability to apply high quality standards.
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences and give presentations .
• Analysis and problem-solving skills .
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents .
• Ability to cope with systems used in the EU civil protection mechanism (e.g. CECIS, ERCC portal) is considered and advatange.
• Proficiency in English language at a C1 level.
