Seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for Outpatient based cardiology practice

Schedule: 4 shifts/week; 8-10 hour shifts

Experience in Cardiology preferred

*Patient care and good interpersonal skills are most important in our practice*

Responsibilities Include:

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients in an outpatient cardiology setting under physician collaboration
Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including history, physical exams, and risk stratification
Manage chronic cardiac conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hyperlipidemia
Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, and laboratory studies
Provide patient education on cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle modification, and preventive care
Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Qualifications

Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York State
Current BLS certification, required
EMR Used: Epic

Pay: $170,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
