Description

SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician in Hanahan, SC .

Job Duties:

Installing equipment into racks, labeling cables, running cables
Read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams to effectively interconnect rack components
Identify and report design or fitment issues and work with drafters and engineers to resolve issue quickly to minimize production delays
Must be able to multitask and adapt to rapid changes that are made during the build process
Provide technical support during system testing. Must perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years related experience
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment and able to take direction and constructive criticism
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs

Desired Qualifications:

Three years experience in maintenance or manufacturing
