Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team in State College, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our valued customers while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

• Safely operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle to deliver products to customers in State College and surrounding areas
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring proper handling and organization of items
• Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon completion
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any issues encountered during routes
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from recipients
• Assist with basic cash handling and credit card transactions when required
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols
• Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to optimize delivery routes and efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, representing the company professionally
• Assist in store during down time as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record meeting company standards
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries 
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years of driving experience
• Excellent knowledge of State College and surrounding areas, including local roads and traffic patterns
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to operate basic technology, including GPS devices and mobile applications
• Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing delivery logs
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekend
