Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Technologist
Location: Rochester, NY 14621
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Schedule: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts
Hourly Rate: $48.28
Total Weekly Gross: $1,738/week (based on 36 hours/week)
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Certified Surgical Technologist (OR Tech / Scrub Tech) for a 13-week contract assignment in Rochester, NY. The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment and providing direct support to surgeons during operative procedures. This role is vital to ensuring optimal surgical outcomes and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgery
Sterilize instruments and ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly
Assist surgeons and other members of the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies
Monitor and maintain sterile field and techniques throughout surgical procedures
Provide post-operative room turnover and support as needed
Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards
Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent surgical/OR experience
Licensure: Active New York State license required
Charting System: EPIC experience is required (must be current and proficient)
Floating: Candidates must be willing to float to other units as needed
Background Check: Considered on a case-by-case basis
