Job Description
Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: C# Developer / Programmer Analyst
- Location: Hybrid (Richmond, VA); first month onsite, then up to 2 days remote per week
- Engagement: 5 Months
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and debug C# .NET solutions and in-house applications (no API usage)
- Design, write, and maintain C# program code for ongoing and future projects
- Participate in design and planning sessions; formulate approaches for coding tasks
- Work with Angular and SQL Server for application development
- Support large menu-driven business systems (e.g., claims processing, payroll, medical, insurance)
- Transfer data between application screens; manage add/update/delete order-entry transactions
- Build new screens and reports; resolve technical issues related to .NET projects
- Collaborate with other developers and participate in project meetings
- Provide technical support and report project status to senior team members
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years C# programming experience (no APIs)
- Minimum 5 years experience with large business systems (claims, payroll, insurance, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years SQL Server and Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code experience
- Minimum 2 years Angular experience
- Minimum 1 year experience with gRPC, T-SQL, and .NET 3.1 or higher
- Knowledge of build/deployment tools (Azure Dev Ops or GitHub)
- Experience with ColdFusion or other languages (COBOL, PHP, Java, Python, C+) a plus
- Ability to write clean, understandable code; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team; experience in agile environments
