Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our  Andare Kitchen & Bar  as our Host-Food Runner at the Hyatt Regency Seattle!

Andare Kitchen & Bar delivers our guests a quick and efficient Italian-themed dining experience, while providing an environment that is upscale yet casual.

As an Andare Food Runner, your base position, you will be responsible primarily for assisting the Andare Server in serving the guest. Service includes any setup/breakdown of Andare buffets, clearing/cleaning tables, delivering food to the guests and any additional items they may need, and ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for the guest. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast paced position with continual customer contact. As well, this position offers the opportunity to be scheduled as an Andare Restaurant Host, where you will greet and welcome Andare guests, assist with reservations and inquiries, seating guests, and supporting the Andare service team.

The hourly rate range for this position when working as a Host is $26.25/hour to $26.78/hour. The starting rate for this position is $26.25/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the position for four years, which is currently $26.78. When working in a secondary position, as a Food Runner, this position earns $20.76/hour.

When scheduled as a Food Runner, this position earns additional compensation from gratuities and tips given at the guest’s discretion to the Andare serving team, as well as service charges on applicable orders.

• Full-Time Colleagues:

• • • 10 days (80 hours) vacation earned per year upon completing 1-4 years of service
    • 15 days (120 hours) vacation earned per year upon completing 5-9 years of service

  • Regular Part-Time Colleagues: Pro-rated vacation hours earned on 1-year anniversary based on average weekly hours worked during the previous 12 months of employment

Qualifications

· True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment

· Refined verbal communication skills

· Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time

· Must have open availability including weekends, holidays, morning/afternoon/evenings

· Previous restaurant experience or previous customer service experience preferred

· MAST/Food Handler’s Cards required
